Nappies for home service are delivered once a week in a parent bag with your child's name written on it.
As the contract points out, it can be terminated:
at any time with the mutual written agreement of the parties;
at any time by either party by written notification by email with acknowledgment of receipt, subject to a minimum notice period of one (1) month (the contract terminates on the last day of the month following the date of receipt of the notification).
We have 3 sizes of diapers available depending on your child's size: XS for toddlers, regular (from 3 months to 3 years), and XL for bigger ones! To change size, please contact us.
When you go on vacation, just let us know and we won't deliver to the nursery at that time! However, you can bring your diapers on vacation and then return them to the nursery. Also, for service management reasons, we cannot interrupt the contract during this period.
We provide you with 3 cotton bin bags every week to reduce plastic waste associated with single-use bin bags. When it's full, simply throw it in the nursery's Snappies bins. However, we recommend using a reusable bag, such as a shopping bag, in addition to the bag provided to transport used diapers to the nursery.
Yes! You can try the Snappies offer at home for a few days free of charge and without obligation! To do so, you can contact us via our website form or send us an email.
It depends on the municipality! Some offer assistance to promote the use of washable diapers at home; you should contact the town hall directly.
We primarily use diapers from the Austrian brand Blümchen. These are all-in-two diapers, meaning the absorbent inserts are separate from the waterproof cover.
Don’t worry, we deliver them pre-assembled and ready to use ! They come in three different sizes with a variety of colorful patterns, allowing us to support each child from birth to potty training.
Enough diapers for a week at home, inserts (boosters) and 3 garbage bags!
Contact us! It is possible to benefit from the offer at home in this case, but we will have to find a relay point for the delivery and drop-off of the diapers. In addition, since the diaper service is 24 hours a day, the rate will be €86/month.
We wash our diapers at a minimum of 60 degrees Celsius. Our laundry detergents are eco-friendly and specially formulated for washing diapers.
They are dermatologically tested to ensure they are safe for babies' sensitive skin and provide virucidal, bactericidal, and fungicidal action.
We ensure impeccable hygiene by certifying our washing processes with an independent laboratory.
A bin filled with washable diapers smells much less than one filled with disposable diapers. To minimize odors, we provide pedal bins along with fabric bags. They are easy to use and designed for disposing of dirty diapers. Moreover, we visit the daycare centers every two days to collect the soiled diapers, which helps prevent unpleasant smells from accumulating. Finally, we supply enough fabric garbage bags so they can be changed multiple times a day and placed in an outdoor container that we also provide.
This is a possibility we are exploring for future development at Snappies, but it will not be implemented at this time. It would require significantly more complex and costly logistics and monitoring.
Our focus is on managing the transition with daycares and parents, ensuring we provide the best possible service.
If you want to use Snappies diapers, the best option is to recommend us to your daycare :)
From a practical standpoint, the child will indeed arrive in the morning with their own diaper, which remains unchanged.
For the last diaper of the day, either the daycare or the parents will provide a clean diaper for the child. The caregivers will use this last diaper of the day to ensure that parents do not leave with Snappies diapers.
Of course, if your child uses the Snappies diaper service at home, they will arrive and leave the daycare wearing our diapers, further reducing waste.

On average, a child will use about 6,000 disposable diapers during their diapering period, which will end up in landfills or be incinerated. Beyond the volume of plastic waste this represents, these diapers are filled with absorbent chemicals, which can be more or less harmful to the environment and to our children. While eco-friendly disposable diapers use fewer chemicals, they still ultimately end up in landfills or incinerators.
In contrast, a child will need only around twenty washable diapers, which are primarily made from organic cotton and are therefore recyclable and upcyclable. The waterproof layer will be the only waste after several years, once the diaper is worn out.

Each diaper wash consumes a certain amount of water and energy. However, it's important to compare this with the water and energy required to produce each disposable diaper. According to Brussels Environment, washable diapers save approximately 13,000 liters of water, which is a 50% reduction compared to the 26,000 liters used in the production of disposable diapers. The energy savings are even more significant, though they can vary depending on the washing and drying methods used.
Additionally, our warehouses use as much solar electricity as possible, generated by photovoltaic panels installed on the roofs.
Each disposable diaper requires about 5 cl of oil and a significant amount of energy to produce. When using several per day, this results in a substantial carbon footprint.
At Snappies, we visit your daycare center every 2 to 3 days to drop off and collect the washable diapers. For logistical reasons and to handle volume, we use a van for these trips. However, instead of making multiple stops at different homes, we consolidate the pickups into one trip to collect diapers from all your children in a single location. This minimizes the carbon footprint per child and is far more eco-friendly compared to disposable diapers.
